Good morning!

It looks like a VERY gloomy day tomorrow and a lot of snow!  Please remember during cold weather season, to send your child with a warm coat, hat, boots, gloves, and snow pants.  We will not be playing outside if the temperature is below 10 degrees with windchill.  This is best practice to keep our students safe from the hazards of cold weather.

Registration is coming up soon!  Please be watching your Friday folders for more information.

Collaboration and Team Work!

The 2nd grade has been learning about habitats.  Each group learned about habitats and had their 6th grade friends teach them how to make a powerpoint from their hand-written presentation and murals.  They learned a lot about the computers and working together as a team.  Way to go 2nd grade!

Real Life Lessons in Maquoketa

Way to use the iPods!  Special thanks to Fareway for letting us use their store to teach the 6th graders about budgeting, meal planning, and power shopping.  Great job 6th grade planning a Thanksgiving meal for 7 people on a $75.00 budget!
